Xiaoyan Wu, PhD. Postdoc
Xiaoyan completed her PhD in psychology and cognitive neuroscience at the IDG McGovern Institute, Beijing Normal University, with Prof. Chao Liu and Prof. Hang Zhang (Peking University). During her PhD, she was a visiting scholar at the Zurich Center for Neuroeconomics at the University of Zurich, with Prof. Christian C. Ruff. Her current research focuses on semantic neural representations and verbal communication. She aims to uncover the neural circuits underlying disorganized language production in schizophrenia by using computational modeling, natural language processing Models (NLPs), large language models (LLMs) and neuroimaging techniques (fMRI and MEG).
