Jonas Rohrer. Research intern

Jonas studied Life Sciences Engineering at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) with the aim of branching into neuroscience. He is currently gaining practical research experience as an intern in the Homan Lab under the supervision of Dr. Marlene Tahedl. His work focuses on the analysis of MRI data, particularly diffusion-weighted MRI, to investigate structural and functional brain changes and their relationship to circadian circuits in bipolar disorder. Beyond this, Jonas is interested in how the brain encodes information as well as modelling neural systems, for instance, to study the effects of disease-related alterations in psychiatry.
